TV+LB | Assembly No. 012
The Celestial Foundation
This assembly explores the tension between geometric repetition and organic failure. The TV (Tera-Vessel) component features a rhythmic, embossed star pattern, suggesting an architectural order that is interrupted by a singular, physical history—a distinct chip in the ceramic lip. This "artifact scar" transitions the piece from a mass-produced object into a unique archival specimen. It is supported by an LB (Lignum-Base) crafted with splayed joinery, elevating the vessel to provide a structural silhouette that mimics the brutalist forms of the city rising from its natural origin.
Registry number hand-scribed on the base for individual authenticity.

Asset ID:
The Tera-Vessel was salvaged from a regional thrift collective, selected for its relief texture and weathered rim. The Lignum-Base component is machined from Western Red Cedar fencing cutoffs, repurposed from a residential perimeter installation to serve as a structural foundation.
Materials: Embossed ceramic; reclaimed Western Red Cedar
Dimensions: Approximately 7" Total Height (Vessel + Base)
Finish: Raw, sanded timber; unglazed ceramic interior
This is an Open System. The vessel's depth and the timber’s breathability make it an ideal environment for low-moisture specimens such as Epipremnum aureum (Pothos) or architectural succulents.
Dust with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid chemical saturation of the cedar foundation to preserve the natural grain.
