    The Urrbanist Collection

Inspired by the silhouettes of modern architecture, the Urbanist Collection explores the tension between solid timber and interstitial light. Each piece is hand-carved to allow light to bleed through the grain, transforming a wooden monolith into a glowing centerpiece.

A three-quarter view photograph of 'The Salk' vertical slit cube light, handcrafted from light-grained natural cedar wood. The lamp is sitting on a gray studio surface and is illuminated, casting a warm orange glow. Two precise vertical slits are visible on the front and side faces, and the light projects a dramatic, distinct cross-shaped pattern of light beams onto the surface beneath it.

TV+LB | Earth and Timber Assemblies

The TV+LB series serves as the definitive intersection of The Earth Container and The Timber Foundation within the SBW archive. This collection is a clinical study of Industrial Rebirth, documenting the tension between the "Planned City"—represented by geometric, man-made vessels—and "Raw Nature"—the unrefined, reclaimed history of the structural bases. Every assembly is a unique specimen, hand-scribed with a registry number to ensure provenance and individual authenticity.
